For the grand finale, we’re excited to bring you day three of Natasha and Sandeep’s wedding weekend. Click here for day one (the Mehndi), and here for day two (the Sangeet).
For those of you who have been following along the beautiful three day journey of Natasha and Sandeep’s wedding weekend, it might seem hard to believe that it gets even more stunning. If you’re just now joining us, be sure to check out the first two days, but pop right back for one of the most opulent and refined wedding days you’ve seen. It was a highlight of the weekend to see these two cuties tie the knot!
We wanted to take a moment before we roll out all the prettiness to just tell you how special this couple really is. It inspires us to meet couples who are accomplishing great things with their lives, or who have built successful careers, or earned degrees at world-renowned institutions, but most of all, couples who are kind and gracious and love life. This couple certainly meets all of these things and more, but they have something extra. They really, truly, sweetly adore each other. It’s the special sparkle that takes the everyday journey of marriage and turns it into a thrilling adventure with your best friend.
When Natasha and Sandeep’s parents were looking out on their little ones years ago, dreaming about the life they would grow up to live, this was the stuff dreams were made of. Not just that their son or daughter would conquer the world and find an equally determined spouse, but that they would see the happiness in their child’s eyes when they were walking down the aisle to meet the one they really, truly fell for. The rest of the world sees the Penn-educated analyst marrying the Berkely-educated attorney, the bride who also won Miss India USA and launched her own fashion label, the picture of a perfect match. But when these two look at each other they see those special first dates over tea, crossing the Bay Bridge to see each other, the laughs they shared becoming each-other’s workout buddy, the sweaty hike to the hilltop where he popped the question…
… and the adventure of a lifetime that began when she said “Yes.”
This is Natasha and Sandeep’s wedding story.
The day started with Natasha’s beautiful pink wedding gown, she designed herself. She’d always wanted to get married in pink, and I love that she did it! This gown is a vision of pink leather and gorgeous roses and lace, one of the most lovely wedding gowns you’ve seen.
I love this photo with the bride’s mother’s hands and grandmother’s, so special to see the hands from each generation.
Beyond gorgeous, Natasha! This is one of my favorite shots of 2017…
Custom cookies for each of the girls…
How great are these groomsmens’ gifts?
The bride and groom decided to do a first look, and I love how sweet it was! In the middle of a busy day, there’s nothing better than having some moments to just be a couple and take in the magic of your wedding…
The light was perfect for these two.
At the end of the baraat, the bride’s family welcome the groom, and I love how truly excited the Natasha’s parents are to welcome Sandeep to their family…
Special thanks to our third shooter, Leslie, for braving the heights, and going way up there, to get this shot for us – love it!
A sweet moment between the bride and her grandmother, before walking out to meet her groom, with her younger brother escorting her with a floral umbrella.
We love the depth of the hindu wedding ceremony, and this ceremony was filled with meaning and significance, but also beauty, joy, and love.
Married, and so much joy!
A true prince and his princess… maharaja and maharani. Simply gorgeous!
The hanging ceiling decor was beautiful, and the golden dance floor reflected the room and was breathtaking.
The bride’s jeweler, the Vogue-featured designer Zameer Kassam
, flew in from New York City to hand-deliver a gorgeous 50ct diamond necklace to complete Natasha’s final outfit of the weekend. The bride truly shined through the night – in more ways than one!
Love this shot of the bride dancing with her mother, and mother-in-law!
The bride and groom threw a truly epic party where all their family and friends danced long into the night, but we’ll end this amazing weekend with the gold confetti finish, and a kiss that captures both the beauty and the magic of Natasha and Sandeep’s wedding. A perfect finish to a perfect weekend!
Natasha and Sandeep,
Cheers to love and that special love that you both share! We are so happy to call you friends, and to have documented such a magical time in your lives. Thank YOU from the bottom of our hearts for being you, and for trusting us to capture your love story. So many people we met at your wedding told us how sweet, smart, funny, and amazing you both were and how you were all those things and more as a couple, and we couldn’t have put it into words better. That’s exactly how y’all are – we are thrilled for you to start this fun journey of marriage. It’s an adventure that’s wonderfully sweet, especially when you always have someone to share those yummy macarons and tea with! Hugs to you both! xo
