Just a couple of years ago, nobody would have dreamed these could would be tying the knot. They had never even met, and lived worlds apart. Well, several states apart. She was in Chicago, and he was in Dallas. But then she flew south to visit a friend, and the two of them ended up at the same party…
Meet Brittany and Jonathan.
The moment they met, Jonathan noticed her eyes. She was stunning, and he was smitten. Brittany loved his smile, and thought he was cute. The two started to talk. Over the next year and a half, they would keep talking – bridging the distance between their two cities. It was an adventure of love and lots of flights, one that Brittany etched in time with each ticket stub she saved. When they finally couldn’t stand the distance anymore, she moved to Dallas, where he gave her an early Christmas gift. It was shiny, round, and came with a question… she accepted his gift (woohoo!), and at their wedding, the plane tickets she had saved up were on display for everyone to see the journey that had brought their two worlds together.
The wedding day started at Harmony Chapel, in Aubrey Texas…
Brittany’s Vera Wang gown was simple and elegant and oh so perfect.
The bride, holding her Coach fragrance…a gift from the groom, and her lovely bouquet.
Brittany’s sister and her mom helped her get dressed…
And her grandmother was there to see how stunning she looked in her dress!
I love how happy Brittany was – there were laughs at every moment, even putting on the garter! Such a radiant bride! : )

Story from the bride and groom
We envisioned our wedding day being fun, sunny and relaxed with a rustic chic feel and a hint of vintage detailing. I fell in love with a blue vintage lace and soft burlap which became a theme among our wedding details. Our biggest splurge was our venue with its gorgeous natural light, center chapel aisle and wood accents. We loved our cakes- mine with its ruffled texture and Jonathan’s with his favorite team. The bouquets included peonies, garden roses, sweet pea and hydrangeas. I took mine all the way to our honeymoon in Barbados because I loved it so much. And of course we cannot stop thanking our amazing photographers, Matt and Ivy, who were with us the whole way capturing every detail beautifully!! But, our favorite part of the day was the kiss, because it sealed the deal.
