Every girl wants an amazing reaction from her groom when he sees her for the first time. So a man whose mouth drops open when he sees his gorgeous bride at the start of their first look, and then again when he sees her walking down the aisle towards him? That’s beyond romantic…it’s true love and all of it’s sparkles. : )
Meet Carrie and Andrew.
Andrew’s reaction to seeing his bride was like seeing the magical moments of every romance movie all rolled into one. The best part? Carrie feels the same way about her groom…together they’ve created a gorgeous world where all you need is love, and you feel lucky to have gotten the chance to know these two.
Here are a few of our favorites their wedding at The Mansion at Judges Hill, and make sure to check out the bride’s story of their day.
The impact and legacy of Carrie’s parents (who’ve both passed away) on the lives of her and her brothers was visible throughout the wedding day. It truly was a gorgeous celebration of their life, and the start of Carrie and Andrew’s new life together. A detail photo of Carrie’s mother’s broach, which she had pinned to her dress.
Carrie’s gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown, and her Stuart Weitzman shoes. With some unbelievably gorgeous earrings. LOVE!
Lovely bridesmaids bouquet by Belva Green…
Carrie, was so happy and stunning all day. Love this shot from the beginning of her day.
Putting on the stunning gown!
Putting on her Mariell earrings….Carrie, you glow! : )
A few of our favorites from Carrie’s bridals…how vintage glam is this shoe shot?!
I love the Mother & Father charms Carrie had on her bridal bouquet.
Matt got to hang out with the guys for some shots of them getting ready.
The groom sporting suspenders….love it! : )
I really like this shot Matt took of the groom fixing his tie, while being interviewed by the videographer…
Andrew rockin’ OSU on his phone!
Andrew and Carrie decided to do a first look, and it was perfectly romantic and dreamy.
As soon as our groom saw his pretty bride, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. How cute are these two?!
The pretty sunlight, the kiss, the happy couple….favorite!
After their first look, the bridal party, and family joined the bride and groom on a true Austin style trolley ride…straight to the Capitol for some fun photos.
Carrie and Andrew, you two are too cute for words! : )
The bride and her lovely bridesmaids.
The groom and his groomsmen…we rarely post (or take!) photos in hard light, but we are totally loving these throwback style pics…they have a Beatles feel to them, and we thought our bride and groom would dig that. : )
We’re always looking for moments when our brides and grooms are just being themselves and we love it when they don’t know their photo is being taken, and they’re just stealing a moment for the two of them. It makes us especially happy when they happen to be in front of such a cool background! ; )
A pre-ceremony photo of the bride sharing a moment with her niece.
Carrie’s brother performed the ceremony. Before it started, he asked Matt if he could capture a special moment when he asked the bride and groom to look out over the crowd who loved them and had come to support them.
Their amazing wedding cake by the fabulous Simon Lee Bakery.
Loving this cute moment from the bride and groom’s first dance…dancing to ‘All You Need Is Love‘ by the Beatles : )
Once the party and dancing started, everyone was on the dance floor…!
We can’t always describe how awesome a wedding is, but a picture definitely helps proves it. ; )
Carrie and Andrew, from the first time we met you two, you became instant friends. So many people at the wedding told us they were lucky to have you all in their lives, and we couldn’t agree more. We love your love for life, the Beatles, and of course, each other. : ) Congratulations on tying the knot! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
Best wishes,
Matt and Ivy
