Their story actually started at a wedding. She was a bridesmaid and didn’t know it, but his mom was attending the wedding and noticed how sweet and beautiful she was. So, with some matchmaking only a mother can do, Mrs. Charlene was able to set up a meeting between her son and the stunning bridesmaid. When they met, we don’t think anyone was more surprised than our couple to find out they clicked perfectly!
Meet Brittany and Keith.
That special meeting was the first chapter in their love story. Â : )
Fast forward a few years, and we received an email from a bride in Russia who wanted us to photograph her wedding. Brittany eventually called me from Moscow and we spoke and I learned she was engaged to Keith… and they were planning their wedding while he was overseas playing basketball.
Several months after we first spoke, when we met them on their engagement session, we thought they were the cutest couple and their story was just perfect. From the charming way they were introduced, to the romantic proposal (overlooking downtown Moscow!) and the dream wedding, it was like a little girl’s fairytale.
And we think their wedding, at the romantic Villa Antonia, was the perfect beginning to their happy-ever-after. : ) Here are some of our favorites from their day!
Brittany started getting ready at the MAC store, and I think the peaceful start to the morning was a fabulous intro to the wedding day.
Brittany was glowing from the start of the day! Special thanks to Tiffany over at MAC Cosmetics at the Domain for her wonderful job with Brittany’s makeup.
After makeup, Brittany and I went over to the Stunner Star salon where Elayana did her hair….and she rocked it! Love how pretty it looked!
After hair and makeup, Brittany met up with her ladies, and we all took a ride over to the gorgeous Villa Antonia, where the girls finished getting ready.
How beautiful is this place?!
A million thanks to N’Yoka, from Clink Events, and her team for coordinating Brittany and Keith’s day at the villa and making sure everything ran smoothly. We LOVE it when our brides have a wedding coordinator, because it ensures they have a smoother day and lots of time for pretty pictures. : )
Brittany’s Sottero and Midgley gown looked fabulous on the balcony at the villa.
From her engagement session (with her rockin hot shoes), I had a feeling Brittany would have some sweet shoes to go with her wedding dress, too….and Jimmy Choo did not disappoint! Love!
Brittany’s mom and bridesmaids helped her into her dress.
These are seriously some of my favorite getting ready photos of all time. I adore how happy Brittany was on her wedding day. So gorgeous and sweet!
After she was ready, we had a chance to take a few photos around the villa before the ceremony.
Brittany, you are such a beauty!! Keith is a blessed man. : )
Prive Floral did the flowers and the bridal bouquet is just a hint of the gorgeousness they prepared for the wedding day. I LOVE everything they designed. The colors were fabulous!
Matt got to hang out with Keith and I’m loving all the shots he got. Check out Keith’s custom purple Air Jordans.
This may be one of my favorite shots of the morning. Love the cufflinks, the bling, and the sunlight.
After Keith got to Villa Antonia, we got to take a few photos of him before the ceremony….and really? He rocked the GQ look in his Tom Ford suit.
Brittany and her lovely bridesmaids!
…and a couple shots of the guys!
Brittany and Keith planned a beautiful ceremony.
Before Brittany walked down the aisle, Keith did a little jiggy…just like he did on the night he proposed to her….
As Brittany walked closer to the chapel and heard the music inside and the response from the crowd, she guessed what Keith was doing, and I think her reaction says it all! I love this moment, and how happy she is!
The next couple of shots will probably be some of my favorite shots of 2011, and my favorite bride’s entrance shots. I love how classically beautiful they are.
Keith was all smiles when he saw Brittany…and I think it was so sweet that she was escorted by both of her dads.
The ring exchange…
Married!!!
We had some time to get some photos of Brittany and Keith, and you can just feel the “just married!” glow. : )
How stunning are these two?! Love. Love. love!
The reception was beautiful.
We loved this touch – a fresh Cuban cigar rolling station!
Brittany and Keith’s entrance was epic! There was so much energy in the crowd, I had to jump up on a ledge to get a better view – apparently the videographer agreed with me! ; )
The cake by Simon Lee Bakery was almost too fabulous to cut into. Just look at it!
LOVED the bride’s reaction on being the first to see her cake. Yay!!
And, of course, the groom’s reaction when he saw how his bride had the perfect groom’s cake custom designed for him.
The first dance…
One of Matt’s favorite shots from the night…
Brittany was all smiles…
During her father-daughter dances…
Brittany’s mom joined them on the dance floor for a sweet moment.
Keith and his mom, for the mother-son dance…so many sweet moments!
I thought it was so touching that a tear came to the groom’s eye, when he toasted his family, and shared how much they mean to him. The love Brittany and Keith’s families surrounded our couple with throughout the night was so obvious. It was truly special.
After some beautiful toasts, the bride and groom went on to cut the cake…
There’s something about a moment like this, in the middle of a dance, and the couple being the focus, with the cool lighting… and expressions…that makes me super happy. : )
Brittany rocked the dance floor!
How romantic is this kiss?
How about this one? ; )
Brittany and Keith waved goodbye to the cheers of family and friends, who showered them with rose petals AND rice. Now that’s love!
Congratulations, Brittany and Keith! We have so enjoyed meeting you both and your families!! Best wishes to this new life as newlyweds! : )
Much love,
Matt & Ivy

The both of you look absolutely beautiful!!! I pray moving forward that the both of your lives is just as beautiful as your wedding. Stay true to yourself and to God. Put God first in your marriage, not your family, and you will continue to have love, peace, joy, prosperity, and growth in your marriage. The two of you make my heart smile and I cannot wait until the next chapter………BABIES!!!!!
