They left their wedding in a car that had a heart drawn on it, and inside it, the words: “Congrats, Dr. + Dr.”
That probably gives you a big hint about Nicole and Brad. : )
They met on their 2nd year of medical school, and they dated through exams, and distances, and accomplishments. From seeing the sign on their car, you’d believe us if we told you we thought Nicole would one day change communities and help people through medicine, and Brad would probably make advances to help fight the war on cancer. We just know they’ll be an amazing couple that really makes a difference in the world.
What the sign on their car won’t tell you, is that they are also some of the most loving and kind people you will ever meet. They like to be with friends, and they really value family. Oh, and they are irresistibly in love! Their smiles (that don’t stop for a second!), and their natural interaction, testify to just how crazy they are about each other.
Words can’t really explain how in love they are and how fun it is to just be around them, so you will just have to see some of our favorite moments from their day!
Nicole and her ladies started to get ready at the historic Warwick Melrose Hotel, and her dress by Marisa was just perfect for her.
I loved Nicole’s classic and blue RSVP shoes. There’s something cute and oh so vintage about them. : )
Nicole’s mom helped her get ready…
I think this “peeking through the mirror” shot, is one of my favorite bride getting ready shots of all time…
Nicole just glowed…all day! Here she is with her lovely ladies, and sharing a moment with her mom.
Nicole let her girls wear cute dresses they chose from Anthropologie. I like how they can re-wear them to the park or out with friends. That’s when you know your bride is a sweetheart. : )
The emotional hug from mom when the dress was all complete, and Nicole was ready…
Matt was with Brad for some shots of him getting ready with his brother, Jason.
AH! Love this shot!
After getting ready, Nicole and Brad opted for a First Look in Beck Park, and I don’t think anything can top the excitement Brad had at seeing his bride…he couldn’t take his eyes off her! : )
After their first look, we got to get some photos of our couple. Since we’d had so much fun with them on their engagement session, we knew their photowalk would be no different. We loved how natural and relaxed they were in front of the camera. I think you’ll have to agree, they were both beaming and oh so excited to be getting married! : )
The park was so romantic, and I think Nicole makes this photo beautiful. : )
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Nicole and Brad, you are seriously adorable.
A fun shot of their amazingly sweet bridal party…
A couple of shots of our happy groom, looking sharp! : )
And our bride…
Nicole, there’s something so natural and classical about your beauty! You completely rocked this black and white shot.
The bride’s bouquet by Lisa Prothro was gorgeous.
The ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dallas. It’s always a treat to go to Holy Trinity, and Suzy, who coordinates weddings there, works really well with photographers and couples to make sure everything’s perfect.
When we got to Holy Trinity, the beauty of the stained glass windows and the sunlight shining through them was magical…
Nicole and Brad love their nieces and nephews, and we think the way they included them in the ceremony was beautiful. How cute are they??
The service was beautiful, and Father Ruiz had our couple smiling more than once. : )
Overall of the ceremony, and the gorgeous church.
The reception was held at the Warwick Melrose Hotel, and Nicole and Brad decorated with some of their favorite engagement photos, and a wooden box for messages.
Every table had a set of cards that the guests used to write messages for the bride and groom to open on their future wedding anniversaries. The table number on the cards indicated the year that Nicole and Brad would open their anniversary messages. We loved this idea!
The cupcake tower from Society Bakery was fabulous.
We weren’t the only ones who thought the cupcakes were incredible! ; )
Nicole and Brad shared their first dance.
Then there were the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance…
Then, one of the sweetest “grandma and grandson” dances we’ve seen!
For the cake cutting, the bride and groom shared some of the yummy looking cupcakes. : )
Then, everyone danced…and they really danced! The wedding was so much fun, and the dancing was awesome.
Since Nicole and Brad love kids and their family so much (and were so great about including the kids in everything), we thought these two dancing shots of the kiddos also enjoying a dance at their wedding would be great for them. So these two are for you guys! : )
After the festivities, the guests went outside to line the exit with candles. Capturing their exit was really important to our bride, and we’re so glad we got to be there for such a fun exit!
Nicole and Brad, we have had such a great time getting to know you. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a beautiful event! We wish you both many many happy years, and a lifetime of fabulous memories. As we say in Spanish, ‘Que al paso del tiempo, cada dĂa sea más bello y feliz que el dĂa anterior.’
Best Wishes to you both!
