Dallas Wedding Photographers: Mihi + Simon

When we met Mihi, she told us she wanted her wedding and Day After photos to have a vintage style. I was excited because I looooove vintage photos, and the thought of working with a bride who did too, was just fabulous!

Mihi and Simon make us smile. : ) They share a love that comes with quiet looks and sweet glances…shy kisses, and ready laughs. When you first meet Mihi and Simon, you think they are opposites. When you spend time with them, you realize that they share many things. They are both very kind and friendly people who love culture and their friends. They both come from loving families, and they are both strong Christians who wanted a wedding that reflected their love for each other, and their faith.

We think that their wedding at the Museum of Biblical Art, in Dallas, and featured on Style Me Pretty, was just that. : )

Once everyone was ready, we headed outside for some shots of the bridal party and the bride and groom. We love when our couples opt for a first look or photo walk, because it ensures that they will have enough time to get the images in the middle of a busy day. Simon and Mihi really planned out their day, and made sure they had enough time for photos. We think you’ll agree that taking the time was worth it! : )

We started with some shots of the ladies- look how pretty they are!  And check out  Mihi’s bouquet and the flowers of the bridal party. All florals were done by Robin and Katie over at Di Fiori – they’re just stunning!

Mihi and Simon opted to display some of their photos from their Bride and Groom session before the wedding. It was a mad rush to get them done in time, but the result was a huge hit at the reception!

How cute is this idea Mihi had for an alternative to the guest sign-in book?

After the first dance, food was served by Gil’s Elegant Catering, and it was amazing. We can attest, because our bride insisted that her photographers grab a bite, too. : )
